Satisfied Practitioners

“This is a wonderful resource for practitioners and clients! It is long overdue! There is a great need for better communication among practitioners, and the link between potential clients and mental health specialists is in need of drastic improvement. Our society needs more education in the areas of mental, emotional and spiritual care, in my opinion. My hope is that BMHN would be a huge resource, would accomplish this task, and would bring good changes.”
Diana Ostapovica

“My business is not large, I just started my practice. BMHN is the solution for me as a way to advertise myself professionally. In addition, it keeps me informed of the philosophies and methods of treatment by other professionals in the region, giving very helpful information for referrals. Thank you!”

Practitioners Registration

What credentials do I have to have in order to be called Practitioner and be able to get listed on your website?

Professionals who would like to be listed in the directory must have a Masters degree and/or a PhD in the field of Mental Health, including Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Psychotherapists, Counselors, Psychiatrists, and Hospital Chaplains.

What is the difference between Individual Professional Profile and Facility Profile?

The Individual Professional Profile is a paid listing that gives more information on the practitioner, including qualifications, philosophy, etc.

The Facility Profile is a paid listing that gives information on treatment facilities, including a photo of the facility, staff qualifications, philosophy of treatment, areas of treatment focus, location and fees.

How much does this cost for Practitioners?

Our Individual Practitioner Profile and Facility Profiles offer customization of your Profile, and allows you to share/see events posted by other users.

Pricing options can be found on our Pricing Page.

How does BMHN take payments?

We offer monthly and annual memberships for our paid clients. All memberships are set up to take automatic payments.

At the moment we are only taking payments through PayPal. You can pay directly from your PayPal account, or from your credit card.

Practitioner Profiles

What’s the difference between my account and my profile?

Your Account holds your private information and allows you make changes to things such as your password, or to delete your account. Only you have access to this.

Your Profile is public and shows your information to clients looking for services, and other practitioners using the website. This shows information such as your photos, contact information, and your services.

How do I edit or delete my account?

Once you are logged in, under Profile on the main menu, select Account on the drop-down menu.

From there you will be able to edit your Account information, change your password, update your privacy settings, or delete your Account.

How do I edit my profile? How do I edit my profile pictures?

Once you are logged in, find the Profile link on the navigation bar and select it. You will be taken to your Public Profile that clients and other practitioners can view.

From there click the cog on the right hand side of the screen right under your cover photo.

How do I view events?

Once you are logged in, find the Events link on the navigation bar and select it. You will be taken to the Events page where all practitioner events are located.

How do I add an event?

If you have an Individual Professional Profile, or Facility Profile, go to your Profile page which is linked in the navigation. From there click on the events link right under your Profile photo. This will show you a link that says Add Events.

Why can’t I see the events page?

Events posted by other practitioners are limited to Individual Practitioner Profiles and Facility Profiles only. If you’d like to sign up for one of these Profiles, please visit our Registration page.

If you already have a Basic Account, we request you delete it before registering for another Profile. You can do this by going to your Account page, linked under Profile in the navigation, and selecting Delete Account.
